Former Monmouth University standout and current Dallas Cowboy Miles Austin enjoyed a career night in Dallas's 27-16 win over the Green Bay Packers in front of a national television audience on NBC's “Sunday Night Football.” Austin had two catches for a career-high 115 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown catch to put the Cowboys up 27-9 with 9:09 left in the fourth quarter.
Austin, who is the football program's all-time leader in receiving yards and touchdown catches, also had a 63-yard reception with 4:30 left in the third quarter to set up a Marion Barber rushing touchdown. The Garfield, N.J. native was also featured as the main picture on www.espn.com for his performance in front of a nationally-televised audience on NBC.
Dallas faces the Washington Redskins on Sunday, September 28 at 4:15 p.m. at home in their next action.
