WOMEN'S SOCCER HELPS OUT WITH MONMOUTH COUNTY BIG BROTHERS/BIG SISTERS ANNUAL PARTY

SPRING LAKE, N.J. ? Several members of the Monmouth University women's soccer team spent part of their time recently lending a helping hand at the Monmouth County Big Brothers/Big Sisters annual holiday party at The Mill in Spring Lake.

The student-athletes spent time helping young boys and girls with games, singing and dancing at the annual party.

“Community service is one of the aspects of our program we stress to our team, year in and year out,” said head coach Krissy Turner. “Assistant coach Harvey Meldrum has helped coordinate our community service projects along with a few of our players and our relationship with this organization has been terrific.”

It is the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth County to make a positive difference in the lives of children who are facing emotional, social, and academic challenges.
