The Monmouth University Sailing Team finished first at a regatta hosted by the University of Pennsylvania Sailing Team as part of the MAISA series. Monmouth finished first place in the “A” fleet and a second place in the “B” fleet for a total of 18 points and beat second place Princeton University by 8 points.

Sophomore “A” fleet skipper Andrew Steward sailing with Bianca Russo/Emily Brown and freshman “B” fleet skipper Rachael Bennung sailing with Karly Condon sailed very skillfully in the extremely light winds. 

Other schools sailing in the regatta were University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, Drexel University, Ocean County College, University of Delaware and George Washington University.
