WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – The defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Champion, Monmouth University men's lacrosse team, announced its 2018 schedule on Monday. Season Tickets to see the Hawks at Kessler Stadium are on sale now at MonmouthHawks.com/tickets.
Monmouth will play seven home games in 2018, including six at the brand-new Kessler Stadium. Season Tickets are $50 per person, while single-game tickets cost $10, senior and student tickets are $8 and group tickets (15+ people) are $5. All seats are general admission and more information can be found at MonmouthHawks.com/tickets. Single game tickets will go on sale in early January.
The Hawks open their season with road games at Princeton (Feb. 17) and Wagner (Feb. 21), before the home-opener against Delaware on Feb. 24 at 12 p.m. The game with the Blue Hens will be the first of a doubleheader with the Monmouth women's lacrosse team, as the Hawks host George Mason at 3 p.m.
After a road matchup with UMass Lowell (March 3), Monmouth will host Saint Joseph's on March 10 at 1 p.m. A midweek tilt at Hofstra (March 13) precedes the MAAC opener at Manhattan on March 17.
Detroit Mercy comes to West Long Branch for a 12 p.m. meeting with the Hawks at Hesse Field on The Great Lawn on March 24. The game is a rematch of last season's MAAC Semifinal and is the first of a conference doubleheader with the women's lacrosse team, which plays Quinnipiac at 3 p.m.
The Hawks travel to Siena to close out March before four consecutive home games at Kessler Stadium. Lafayette (April 3), NJIT (April 7), Marist (April 14) and Quinnipiac (April 20) all visit the Jersey Shore in succession this Spring.
The regular season concludes on April 27 when the team travels to Buffalo to face Canisius. Information regarding dates for the 2018 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship will be announced by the conference in the near future.
