Parking
Fans attending the 2017 MAAC Field Hockey Championships are directed to park in Monmouth University's parking lot numbered 25, while available. Additional parking will be available in lots 13, 14 and 15. Lot 16 will be available on Sunday. (University Map)

Broadcast Information
Friday's semifinal games of the 2017 MAAC Field Hockey Championship will be broadcast live on MAAC.TV, while the championship game will be live on ESPN3.

Notes
- Monmouth captured the program's fifth regular season championship, its fourth straight, and will make its 13th postseason appearance. The Hawks have eclipsed 10-wins for the sixth time in their history and the fifth time in the last eight years. 

- For the second year in a row, Monmouth finished non-league play with a 9-2 (.818) record, tying the program's best winning percentage set in 2016. It is the fifth time the Hawks have recorded a winning non-league record with each occurrence coming during Figlio's tenure.

- For the first time in the 21-year history, the Hawks obtained a nationally ranking, coming in at No. 25 in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Coaches' Poll on September 19th and October 3rd.   

- The Blue and White finished the regular season unbeaten at home (8-0) for the second year in a row and have won 20-straight regular season games on their home turf dating back to the 2015 season.

- The Hawks hosted a Big Ten opponent on So Sweet A Cat for the fourth time when Indiana visited West Long Branch in September.  Georgia Garden Bachop's goal in the first overtime session propelled the Blue and White to its second win over a Big Ten foe.

- The 2016 MAAC Player and Defensive Player of the Year Julie Laszlo, who will graduate top-three all-time in points, set the program's single-season assist record, dishing out 23 helpers this season.  The senior, who had three three-assist games, becomes the first Hawk to eclipse 20 assists and the sixth Hawk to record double-digit total.

-Monmouth enters the postseason ranked third nationally in scoring average (4.50) and scoring margin (3.25).  The Blue and White outscored non-league opponents 46-16 before putting together some lopsided conference wins against Siena (9-1) and LIU Brooklyn (10-1).

-Julie Laszlo, registered a point in 15 of 17 games this season, while carrying a 14-game point streak in conference tournament weekend. Over that 14-game span the defender accumulated 36 points.

- Seven different players were named MAAC Player of the Week this season with four of the seven being named the offensive player of the week.  Kelly Hanna (Offensive) finished with a team-high four honors, while Julie Laszlo (Defensive) and Tamar Klinkhammer (Rookie) each have a three accolades.  Josephine van der Hoop (Offensive) was lauded twice.

- In its history, Monmouth has had 81 athletes earn all-league honors, while being home to five players of the year (Gina Chico-2000 [NEC], Michelle Pieczynski- 2012 [NEC], Alex Carroll-2013 [MAAC], Trish O'Dwyer-2014 [MAAC], Julie Laszlo-2016 [MAAC]), three offensive players of the year (Michelle Pieczynski-2012 [NEC], Trish O'Dwyer-2014 [MAAC], Alyssa Ercolino-2016 [MAAC]), three defensive players of the year (Alex Carroll - 2013 [MAAC], Casey Hanna-2014, 2015 [MAAC], Julie Laszlo-2016 [MAAC]), two rookies of the year (Kellie Nurko – 1999 [NEC], Meg Donahue-2014 [MAAC]), one goaltender of the year (Christen Piersanti – 2015, 2016 [MAAC]) and two coach of the year recipients (Monica Morgan Levy – 1999, 2000 [NEC], Carli Figlio – 2010 [NEC], 2014 [MAAC], 2016 [MAAC]).
